Kitchen Extension for Christmas

This beautiful modern home in a quiet Cul de Sac in Middleton, Leeds was crying for a larger family kitchen and dining area to entertain guest and have the much-needed room for all the family at Christmas.

After getting touch with DB Brick & Stone we added in an additional 27 square meters of space to the downstairs of this home. To open up the kitchen we installed a support beam, creating a large wall to wall opening, allowing the kitchen to flow through to a brand new dining area. We fitted anthracite aluminium bi-folding doors, a floor to ceiling window and two Velux windows in this new space, ensuring the customers gained the maximum amount of sunlight possible. The kitchen installed was a beautiful addition from Wren Kitchens.

We divided the new utility room using an insulated stud wall, with a double washer, dryer and the all-important dog wash area. Giving the family the perfect place to get clean after a muddy winter walk, the room has its own Velux window bringing in the natural light. To maximise space in this busy area, we installed a pocket door, sliding into a cavity in the wall making it simple to shut the noise from the dryer out when relaxing in the kitchen or sitting room.

We transformed the existing garage into an extra sitting room, perfect for the whole family we insulated and raised the floor level, removed the garage door and installed a new window in-keeping with the rest of the house.
