Creating a new kitchen

After a change in circumstance our customer wanted to transform this bed & breakfast into a home. Utilising as much as the existing materials as possible to make to this project cost effective, we set to work turning one bedroom and corridor into a large open plan kitchen/diner. We made some structural alterations as the kitchen design favoured one large window rather than 2 small separate ones. And what a lovely kitchen it turned out to be, designed and supplied by Howden’s then installed by our fitter it really did finish off this project perfectly.

One of the original ensuite bathrooms was made into the new utility and a new opening made into the main hallway. While we were at it, we added extra insulation in the loft to bring it up to UK regulations and most importantly keep this home warm.

Finally, Caroline’s home taste in home décor truly made this building into a cosy home at last.
